Was a gift and was very well received, except that after setting the time, it didn't appear to be working. Suspect it was sat in a warehouse for a while, because after a day of leaving it on the window sill, it worked fine, and has been ever since. If also buying as a gift, I would recommend taking it out the box and leaving it to charge for a little while before wrapping and gifting. Otherwise a very smart looking timepiece.

It is a small watch but classy look, exactly what I was looking for. Clear face, you can easily see the marks for hours. Maybe calendar seems a bit small and my eyesight is not that great any-more but it does the right job for me.

I love this watch. I bought mine just over a year ago and, with the exception of a few days, it has been on my wrist constantly. It has been much admired for its clean lines and easy to read face. As with most solar-powered watches it will lose a few seconds over several weeks but it is easy enough to get it back to right time. I did wear it during a pool swim on one occasion just to see how it coped and it lost nearly a minute during my half-hour swim. I have not worn it swimming again and it is keeping time as well as it did before. Splashes from washing hands etc do not seem to affect it.

First moan - was underwhelmed by over £40 Customs Dues payable before ParcelForce would release the package. Thank you Brexit. Perhaps Amazon could find a way of warning that prospective imports might attract such costs when an order is placed? Anyway - on to the product itself. It looked nice but operating the fiddly little hasp was an intellectual challenge and hard on the fingernails. Anyway, it disintegrated after about three days. Amazon provided the printed label for posting back to Germany which cost me another £10. Not happy at all.

I have had this watch for a week. Really pleased with the style and the quality feel. So far it keeps excellent time. The strap is easy to adjust but as I have skinny wrists, there is about 7cm of excess strap which makes it fiddly to fasten so will probably take to a jeweller to shorten.The watch face is very clear so I can read it without my reading glasses.

Bought as a birthday present for my wife. Clear uncluttered face, easy to adjust strap and it's solar powered, so no more running out of batteries. Excellent buy. My only complaint was that the date window is a bit small, even for people with relatively good sight. Update August 2024. The end of the strap is kept in place by a rubber loop (keeper) which unfortunately deteriorated and broke. Because my wife's wrist is fairly small, the free end is quite long and, without the keeper, the strap kept coming loose, allowing the watch to fall off. I contacted Bering to get a replacement (they offer a two year replacement service), but they told me that they didn't stock keepers and they wouldn't even tell me where they got them. Extremely poor service. As a result, I accepted Amazon's generous offer to return the watch for a full refund. Because of the poor after sales service, I wouldn't recommend buying from Bering.

El reloj es muy bonito y muy fácil de ajustar a la muñeca; aunque tengo muñeca fina, no se ve el sobrante, porque queda por debajo de la correa. Funciona a la perfección, llega puesto en hora. Acabo de comprarlo y por ahora estoy encantada. El tamaño es ideal para muñeca fina. Cierto que no veo la fecha sin gafas, pero me pasa con casi todos los relojes porque me gustan en tamaño de mujer. Siempre se puede elegir un tamaño mayor. Buena idea que el envase sea de cristal, se puede reutilizar para otras cosas y se evita contaminar con más plástico.

Bereits beim Öffnen der Verpackung war ich absolut begeistert. Sehr geschmackvoll und edel. Das Thema von Bering zieht sich bis ins Detail durch. Meer, Segel und Weite.... Sehr gelungen. Und nun zur Uhr. Ich wollte eine weibliche Uhr, die an meinem zarten Handgelenk nicht wuchtig wirkt und habe genau das bekommen. Von der Optik passt sie perfekt zu mir. Das Armband lässt sich sehr einfach einstellen und den überstehenden Teil , kann man ganz einfach in die Gummi-Schlaufe, auf dem das Wort Solar steht, stecken. Ich denke, dass diese Lasche genau dazu dient. Ich schreibe dies, weil in einem Kommentar weiter unten bemängelt wurde, dass der überschüssige Teil des Armbandes herumhängen würde. Das tut er nicht, wenn man das Gummi- Teil wie bei einer Gürtel-Schnalle oder bei einem Lederarmband nutzt. Auch der Verschluss funktioniert, anders als in einem anderen Kommentar beschrieben, sehr gut. Man muss lediglich den Sicherungsbügel über den Teil des Verschlusses klappen, der vorher eingehakt wurde. Habe auch erst etwas probieren müssen. Aber es geht und hält super. Über die Haltbarkeit der Uhr kann ich noch nichts sagen, werde es irgendwann nachholen.

Love the small [26mm] diameter and slim profile. Feels very comfortable on wrist. Is easy to adjust wristband and seems to keep time accurately. The watch face is quite simple and stylish, exactly what I wanted. I need the second hand for counting pulses and the added feature of a date is a plus. The fact that I will never need to change a battery is the key reason for this eco-drive Bering watch purchase and I am very happy with my decision. It comes in a very clever cloudy glass jar which contains a white pillow and drawstring bag. [In comparison to the usual watch boxes that have no purpose after removing the watch] This 'jar' with a cover, as well as the drawstring bag, can be used for many things now other than storing the watch and the pillow can be used to stuff a shoe or as a stress ball or whatever.... Kudos to the Bering team for their innovative packaging. and YES I recommend this watch.
