This is a looker! The watch in 44mm has plenty of wrist presence just the right dimensions for my 7 inch wrist I've always been on the fence about luminox due to the mixed reviews, but I decided to take the plunge and find out for myself and it's worthy to join the likes of my panerai tag omega tudor longines sinn domasko seiko prospex g shock hamilton citizen red arrows limited and sit proudly in my watch case:) it's a rugged lightweight practical tool watch and the lume is very impressive there's so many different models and variants but I chose the sea lion it's an impressive timepiece and am a happy with my purchase ignore all negative reviews luminox watches are are built to last, and are so light and comfortable to wear excellent piece of kit :)

Very happy with the Luminox Sea Bass particularly in the yellow dial I chose. Quality for the price is excellent. Dial very legible and crown easy to operate. Bezel click, one directional,feels very satisfying. Can't comment on lume quality but I hope it will be good given the manufacturer. Strap and clasp are decent standard too. Good deal o price here. Maybe not the absolute best but worth £10 more for reassurance of Amazon back up.

Was looking for an every day watch to wear, something slightly different and a bit more interesting than a Casio. Didn’t need the Bear Grylls one that comes with instructions for rubbing two Boy Scouts together to make a camp fire and how to survive in the wild, eating just nettles, or be an action hero and pretend Navy Seal. The colour is a personal taste, yellow works fine for me and I can see the time without my glasses on. The bezel turns and clicks nicely as a divers watch should do and the strap fits my average wrist with plenty of adjustment. As has been stated, ‘it is a cheap looking watch’, I have to disagree, I also own an Omega Seamaster , this watch keeps better time. It is Swiss made, not your usual Chinese stuff, it fits all my needs and am very pleased with it. The price is what befits your budget but I can thoroughly recommend this watch.

A great lightweight watch whic stands out. More for casual sports dress or for diving ie the yellow is the last colour you will see when diving to depth. Tritium phial stands out, however, they are only T25 type so not as bright as T100. Indices can be seen clearly in the dark.

The media could not be loaded. Ich denke zu den Luminox muss ich nicht viel sagen. Die Uhren sind einfach robust, sehr leicht und lassen sich nachts sehr gut ablesen. Wirken allerdings für viele auf den ersten Blick auch immer ein bißchen wie eine Spielzeug Uhr ;-). Ich finde das aber gar nicht und ehrlich gesagt ist mir das auch egal. Ich muss mir zumindest keine Gedanken machen, dass die nach einem Stoß direkt den Geist aufgibt. Hier bei der Sea Lion ist eigentlich die Besonderheit, dass die in einer kleinen Größe mit 37mm daher kommt und nicht wie sonst mit den 43/44mm was bei meinen 17/17,5cm Handunfang schon immer was groß ist. Die hier sieht dann auch aufgrund des fast komplett schwarzen schon wesentlich dezenter aus und trägt sich für mich sehr gut. Das liegt natürlich auch an dem nicht spürbaren Gewicht. Wir reden hier von gerade mal etwas über 40g und da ist wahrscheinlich das Band schon schwerer als das Gehäuse :-). Die Ablesbarkeit ist tagsüber für mich noch OK, aber da wir ja hier alles in Schwarz Abstufungen haben, finde ich es was schwerer zu lesen als mit z.B. weißen Ziffern auf schwarzen Hintergrund. Ich orientiere mich daher eher komplett an die Zeiger. Im dunkeln ist das natürlich eine andere Sache und da ist die Beleuchtung für mich mehr als gut und wie man es von dem Hersteller kennt hält das auch gut an. Das Ronda Quarzwerk (hier Typ 505) ist allseits bekannt, hält viel aus und läuft sehr gut. Die Lünette lässt sich super bedienen und rastet grandios. Da wackelt nichts. So, ws gefällt mir nicht? Das Band (welches sich super anfühlt und trägt) ist extrem kurz. Ich habe ja mit 17/17,5cm Umfang einen recht schmalen Handgelenkumfang und bin hier im zweiten Loch mit etwas Luft und dritten Loch eng anliegend und kann daher auch nur einen von den zwei Bandschlaufen nutzen. Alles an größeren Umfang wird es echt schwer haben das Band zu tragen. Es hat 20mm Anstoß, Lochteil liegt bei circa 11cm, Schließenteil ohne Schließe bei circa 7cm. Mir passt das Band ja trotzdem, aber ich fände etwas länger schon besser. Andererseits ist es aber so, dass ein 19er Umfang sich bestimmt nicht die Kleine hier holen würde und vielleicht ist das ja der Hintergedanke von Luminox gewesen. Als Schließe hätte ich auch noch gerne eine schwarze Version gewünscht, aber da die Krone ja auch silber ist, passt das auch so ganz gut. Bis auf das etwas kurze Band finde ich die Uhr sehr schön und das beigelegte Etui ist auch super, da man es gut weiterverwenden kann und nicht so viel Platz wegnimmt.

Funktion war bis 2 Monate nach erhalt einwandfrei (nun geht sie alle 6 Wochen einen Tag nach), das Uhrband ist angenehm zu tragen aber das Gehäuse und besonders die Lümette sieht für den Preis sehr billig aus. Als Arbeitsuhr geht's schon.

Ich habe nicht allzu viel erwartet aber wurde trotzdem enttäuscht.. Der erste Punkt ist die Verpackung, die einen sehr billigen Eindruck macht. Wirkt für mich wie ein Schutzetui für eine Brille und nicht für eine teure Uhr. Eine schöne robuste Box hätte hier eher gepasst ! Zu dem wirkt das ganze Design der Uhr für mich etwas kindisch ? Angefangen von der zierlichen Größe der Uhr und dem kleinen Band, denen ich nicht um meinen Handgelenk bekommen habe. Ich war etwas verwirrt und habe extra nochmal nachgeschaut und es wird hier eindeutig als "Herrenuhr" vermarktet.. Die Ziffern usw. sind auch ziemlich klein dargestellt. Zum Thema Funktionalität kann ich jedoch sagen, dass die Uhr wenigstens problemlos funktioniert und einen wertigen Eindruck macht. Wasserdicht ist die Uhr auch, wobei ich die bei mir nur in die Badewanne geworfen habe. Ob es tatsächlich bis 100m Tiefe ausreicht, kann ich leider nicht testen. Ich für meinen Fall bin aber nicht zufrieden und der Preis von 295€ ist eindeutig nicht realistisch
