The media could not be loaded. I ordered this watch as a gift for my dad who been after a smart watch for a while. He didn’t want one that looked like an Apple Watch, but something more subtle, so this Pininfarina Senso watch ticked all the boxes. The watch comes in a very smart case with a charging base and USB C cable, a warranty card and a soft cleaning cloth. The quality is excellent and really does ooze quality. Setting up the watch is straight forward. Stick it on the charging dock (you’ll need a compatible plug to plugs the USB C cable in to) and whilst it’s charging, you can download the app from the App Store. There is a QR code inside the box which will take you to an instructions and set up page. You can download all the documents here too. Once the app is downloaded, you simply follow the props, such as signing up for an account and pairing the watch. Using the watch is very easy too. This watch is only a fitness watch and won’t take incoming or make outgoing calls. Still, it makes a great fitness companion. My dad mainly wanted a smart watch for keeping track of his steps and general fitness, so he wouldn’t need any kind of phone functionality anyway. You can set up what sort of fitness regime you want, whether that’s walking, running, cycling etc. via the app. You can also set goals for fitness or keeping track of calories, weight or sleep patterns. One of the great things about this watch is that it has an ECG monitor in it. This is especially handy for my dad who regularly monitors his heart rate. Now he can do it all via the watch and app, it’s super handy! There’s also a weather and compass mode in the menu too which is a nice touch. So far my dad has found it fairly easy to use. He’s not particularly tech savvy but he’s just about finding the app usable. Apart from using it like a regular watch,he pretty much only uses the smart functions for steps and heart rate and said he probably won’t use it for much else. Overall, this is a great quality watch with some nice smart features. It’s pretty straightforward to use and has everything my dad needs to keep track of his fitness levels. His favourite thing about the watch is the ECG and being able to monitor his heart rate. If you’re looking for a wall made, good quality watch that has subtle smart watch features, then you can’t go wrong with this watch.

I've only recently started wearing a smart watch in the last 7 months and it was a cheap fully digital one (via Vine) with all the fitness and social features I could ask for. When this hybrid watch appeared it looked very impressive. It arrived in rather OTT packaging and really looks the part, with it's own charging dock, USB cable and QR code to download the rather threadbare and temperamental app to pair it with. The watch itself is high quality and also quite heavy, especially when compared to my budget digital one. It's a hybrid build, meaning the main watch is analogue and the smart features are displayed on a small circular LED display. This is the real issue for me. It lacks the features I require as a daily driver. It is solely driven by fitness and health features. There's no getting WhatsApp, emails etc on this, which is really handy in every day use. If you're purely into fitness and telling the time and not into other social features then it's fine, but for me it was a big let down. I much prefer a fully functioning smart watch and thus a digital build is the only way to go for me. You could still have an analogue display with that too. The app is very minimal and doesn't offer much in the way of features and it's quite flaky. Reviews on the Play store reflecting that with a very low overall score. There's no doubting it's a beautiful, well presented piece of jewellery, but you're really paying for it here and I don't think it's worth the price for such minimal features. I prefer my cheap, digital smart watch that does infinitely more at a fraction of the price. Disappointing.

A real shame as its been a long time since I've had a really nice watch and I was looking forward to all of the features this one has when the app is installed and set up, except the nightmare starts there as the app is blooming hard to set up properly and even when you manage it then noting works properly or even starts up sometimes, what we have here is an expensive but nicely hefty watch that can sometimes do a bit more but not very often and not very well, maybe I'll just take a bite out of the apple next time.

This watch would make an excellent gift. It comes in a smart wooden presentation box that would be easy to gift wrap. The watch itself has an understated, classic look. Not bold and flashy like a lot of smart watches. The watch strap is a little stiff, hopefully it will soften a little over time with use. It feels a nice weight on your wrist. If I was being very picky, I'd say that the little screen could do with being a slightly higher resolution, but it does what you need displaying the watch functions and things like heart rate. It comes with a bespoke charging base. It was easy to pair with a smart phone. I was able to sync data from the watch to Google fit, but had to use the branded app to manage the watch rather than WearOS. Overall, I am very pleased with the watch. If you want to be able to track steps and heart rate etch without wearing an obvious smartwatch or fitness tracker, this is a very good choice.

The watch looks modern and cool. It was easy to sync and set up. It has a lot of the modern functions that I like. I am able to charge it without any issues. As for power, I don't notice any decrease in performance after so many charges and using it for months.. It was comfortable on my wrist. It is quite durable so far. I dropped it few times and have put in the bathroom for a while. Despite all that abuse, it is still working. So far, I am happy with it.
